To our wonderful Golden Dog Grooming family,

We wanted to take a moment to ask for a little extra patience, kindness, and understanding as we continue to grow. ❤️

Golden Dog Grooming is a small, independently owned business. While we are incredibly grateful to have recently welcomed additional help to our team, there are still several days throughout the week when I am operating the salon entirely on my own.

That means I am not only your dog’s groomer, but also the person answering phones, responding to messages, managing appointments, cleaning, handling administrative responsibilities, and everything else that goes into keeping our doors open.

When a dog is on my grooming table or in my bathtub, their safety will always come before answering a phone call. There are moments when I simply cannot step away, and I will never compromise an animal’s safety to answer the phone.

We understand how important communication and scheduling are, and we are continuously working to improve our systems. We are human, and occasionally mistakes happen. When they do, we take responsibility and do our best to make things right.

What we ask in return is a little grace.

Being a small business doesn’t mean we care any less. In fact, it often means we’re giving everything we have.

Every dog who walks through our doors matters to us. Every appointment matters. Every client matters.

But kindness and respect matter, too.

We are doing our very best to provide a safe, comfortable, high-quality grooming experience while navigating the realities of running a small business.

I’m sharing this on behalf of a dear friend who is trying to find a loving home for her aunt’s beloved cat.

Unfortunately, her aunt has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and is no longer able to provide him with the care he deserves. This is an incredibly heartbreaking situation, and we’re hoping to make this transition as gentle as possible for everyone involved.

🐱 A little about this handsome boy:

* Believed to be a neutered male
* Indoor cat
* Sweet and loving
* Age currently unknown
* Has been living in a quiet home with his owner
* Compatibility with children and dogs is unknown

We are not looking to just give him away to anyone. We want to make sure he finds a safe, stable, and loving forever home where he will be cherished just as much as he has been by his owner.

This little guy has already experienced so much love, and he deserves to spend the rest of his life knowing that same comfort and security. ❤️

🚨 A QUICK REMINDER ABOUT MY PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER 🚨

I want to kindly but very clearly remind everyone that my personal phone number is just that — my PERSONAL number.

If you have my personal number because you are a client, please do not repeatedly call or text it regarding appointments. Calling 5+ times in a row will not get you an earlier appointment, move you up the schedule, or make me more likely to answer. If anything, repeated calls make it harder for me to respond.

My first responsibility are the pets in my care, picking up the phone can potentially cause harm as my fosuc is not on them. I am alone please be patient as I get back to everyone

I understand that sometimes you may be excited to get your pet in sooner, need to ask a question, or are hoping for a cancellation. I completely understand! ❤️ However, I have a business schedule that I have to follow, and I cannot create appointments simply because someone repeatedly contacts my personal phone.

📱 Please use the proper business communication channels for appointment requests and scheduling.
🐾 If you want to be notified about an opening, please send one message and I will get back to you when I am able.
⏰ Please remember that I also have personal time, family time, and time when I am simply not working.

I love my clients and I love taking care of your pets, but having access to my personal number does not mean I am available 24/7.

Thank you for respecting this boundary and respecting my time. It allows me to give my clients and their pets the attention they deserve. 🤍🐾

When you submit an appointment request through our online booking system, please remember that it is a request—not a confirmed appointment. Every request is reviewed against our master schedule and availability. We reserve the right to accept or decline requests based on our current availability.

Please wait for confirmation before assuming your appointment is booked. We appreciate your patience and understanding!

🌸 Updated Business Hours
After working every single day for the past three years, I have made the decision to officially close on Sundays.

Golden Dog Grooming is my passion, and I love caring for your pets, but I also need time to rest, recharge, and have a life outside of work. 💕 This change allows me to continue providing the quality care and attention your pets deserve.

Thank you for respecting my personal time and updated hours.

Our lobby policies are in place to protect the safety and comfort of every pet, client, and team member.

If we ask you to step out of the lobby, please understand that it is a safety precaution. Not every dog is comfortable in a busy environment, and we want to minimize stress, prevent incidents, and keep everyone safe.

We also expect all clients to treat one another and our staff with kindness and respect. Disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate comments toward other clients or our team will not be tolerated.

Any client who repeatedly violates our expectations for respectful conduct may be blacklisted and refused future services.
