Lived-in color is a low-maintenance color option that is achieved by using a variety of techniques to blend highlights, lowlights, and your natural color together, for a more seamless grow-out.

It’s a great way to transition into color for the first time, or transition out of your high maintenance retouches.

Lived-in looks are completely customizable and require lower maintenance than traditional color techniques.

I know our busy lives (and pesky hairs) can make dialing that iron up to the highest setting tempting, but don’t give in! It’s one of the worst things you can do to your hair. 🔥

A lower temperature will still allow you to achieve your style, without compromising your gorgeous hair. If it’s above 350°, it’s too high. If your hair is on the finer side, 250° is plenty.

Remember to always use a heat protectant before applying any heat to your hair. It’s a quick step to provide a barrier between your hair and the heat source, lessening your chances of damage.
