A reminder to everyone since we’ve been getting messages from new customers inquiring about alterations:

If you need something altered, please come during operating hours to consult with our tailor. You don’t need an appointment. You will try on the clothes in our dressing room if necessary. You will get a quote and a date for pick up at that time. You are under no obligation to leave your clothes with us to be altered if you don’t like our prices. It’s just difficult to give quotes over the phone or online due to the wide range of complexity of each garment (fabric, layers, bedding etc). When you come, please wear the correct undergarments and shoes to ensure the best fit. Thank you!

Also, turnover for alterations may be a bit slower than usual because we are very busy this time of the year due to prom and weddings. Please factor this in before you consider getting your clothes tailored with us at the time. The earlier you can bring in your clothes, the better.

It’s that time of the year again!

If this year is a special year for you, whether it be for prom, a wedding, or another special occasion, please consider bringing your dresses, tuxes, and suits in for alterations at least 3 weeks ahead of time. Our alterations shop gets very busy come spring. From March to May, our tailor is usually has to work long hours and it would really help us if you brought your garments earlier rather than later.

Remember to recommend us to friends and family if you like our work! We really appreciate it!

We ask that anyone bringing prom or wedding attire for alterations to give us 3 weeks to get it done on time. We are really swamped right now.

If your special event is less than 3 weeks away, the best thing to do is to come in with your garment during our operating hours. Our tailor will be able to tell you more accurately if it’s feasible for her to finish your alterations by that specific date.

There are many factors as to why some garments take longer to alter than others.

Please come in with your shoes for the event as well as any undergarments you plan to wear so that we can ensure a perfect fit. You will be quoted a price and given a pick up date before you drop off your items.

Hi all, as we are moving out of winter soon and into spring, we want to remind everyone that we DO alter wedding and prom dresses (as well as suits). If you have your outfits ready, bring them in as soon as you can! This is the busiest season for us and our tailor often stays very late into the night to get everything done.

You can come in any time during operational hours (listed on this page). Please bring any shoes or undergarments you plan to wear to make sure we get the fit correct for your special day. Prices are individualized based on how complicated the alterations are for the garment. Feel free to ask our tailor any questions while there.

Hi everyone,

Some of you may have seen on our shop door that we’re currently closed. We plan to tentatively reopen on Monday. Please understand that we may have to close for a bit longer than that. We will update this page. Our family has caught a really bad illness this season and so we are all on the mend.

Thanks for your understanding. We’ll be back as soon as we can.

Things are handled and everything should be fine now. 🙂 But for future reference, these facts still apply. We will never ask you for payment via our social media.
