Seeing 👀 DOUBLE

In case you missed it, a couple of weeks ago I moved into this spacious double suite. (Yes, I repainted my mountain wall by hand)

This means a few big things:
1. I’ll be hiring an associate stylist soon! A fresh beauty school grad who’s ready to learn, be my second set of hands, and offer services on days I may not be available.
2. There’s more flexibility in my schedule already with the increased ease of double booking.
3. I’m taking on new clients for the first time in 2 years! Send your mom, besties, and coworkers my way. They can visit my website to tell me about themselves and book their first appointments.

NEW PRICING begins on December 10.

First off, I want to thank all of my many clients for continuing to trust me with your hair!

Since moving out on my own in June I have had time to evaluate more about the cost of running business, keeping color inventory, and managing the best use of my own time.

So for all of those reasons plus the continued inflation cost of supplies, I will be implementing new pricing on December 10, 2022.

Sun kissed refresh just in time for baby!

This is a great example of a partial foileyage. We start all the highlights at the root in foils around the face and as I move toward the crown of the head I start to tease some of them to break up where they all start. Then at the shampoo bowl we do a root smudge on everything except for the front 1/2 inch and a glaze if needed. This process gives a more natural look and lets you go a little longer between appts.

When designing my salon studio I knew I wanted it to be inviting, relaxing, and authentic to who I am. And who am I? I’m a girl who loves the mountains⛰ of East Tennessee, reading📚 and little free libraries, and ✨pretty✨ things.

I hope you feel at home here because I know I do.

Meet Roan Beauty Company.

Coming up with a name was the hardest part for me, but once decided, it helped everything else come together. The name Roan is a nod to a mountain range in East Tennessee that is the backdrop of my hometown. These mountains don’t get all the praise of the Smokies, but they are just as breathtaking. Roan Mountain also became a place where relationships flourished as I gathered friends and family there over the years.

As I thought about the type of hair and makeup that I love to create, I realize my goal is always to enhance my client’s natural god-given beauty. I value simplicity and naturally beautiful looks. But more than that, I value my relationship with each client who sits in my chair. I want to be a safe and relaxing space for you, even if it’s for something as simple as a haircut.

Roan just fit.
