PRO TIPS FOR HEALTHY SUMMER HAIR:
Wetting your hair before a dip in the pool with tap water will help prevent your hair from absorbing the chlorine!
Fight frizz with your t-shirt! Instead of using your terry cloth beach towel to dry your hair after a swim, use a cotton t-shirt to gently squeeze the water from your hair. This will be less abrasive and reduce frizz when drying off!
Don’t forget to protect your scalp from the sun! Either apply a small amount of powder sunscreen to your scalp (that will help reduce oily roots too - bonus!) or opt for a cute hat for additional sun protection!
When you braid your hair, it’s best to do so when it’s dry. Wet hair shrinks as it dries and if you braid it too tightly it can lead to breakage. If you braid your hair when it's wet, make sure to do a loose braid to avoid damage to your tresses.
Wash your hair regularly with a lightweight formula Hydrating & Repairing Shampoo. When it’s hot out, oils and sweat can build up on the scalp and clog your hair follicles which is a real summer bummer!
Leave-in conditioners and lightweight serums will help to moisturize the hair. Humidity & moisture in the air is sucked up by dry hair, so fight frizz by conditioning regularly!

Just wanted to tell everyone that I miss you all like crazy!!! Can’t wait to be back in the salon. Hopefully this will be over sooner than later. I will be booking appointments for the week of April 15th. Hope everyone is staying safe and sane. Hope to see you all soon!
