I feel disconnected often..
Life is so busy, so much on our to do list. Days begin and then end, and I find myself wondering where did the time go?
Movement has always helped me reconnect with my body. Taking time to breathe, hear my own thoughts, feel my heart beat. It brings me back into the present moment and allows me to be more centered and calm through my day. Taking 10 minutes to do something kind for my body and mind can make a difference in how I feel, and how I show up for others around me.
This is your reminder to check in with your body and do something kind for yourself. You are so worth it.

I’m 38 today
This last year has had so much life in it. I fell in love, got engaged, became a mom, moved, moved again, planned a wedding, traveled to a place I’d only dreamed of, explored places I’d never been, grown in ways I never expected, found more of myself, and have fallen more in love with the life I’m making. I am overflowing with gratitude for this beautiful life that I have, for gifts and blessings I never saw coming. 38 years of life on this ride, full of joy and magic, and I wouldn’t trade a second of it.

Self care isn’t selfish..
As women, often our time is spent in service to others. But it’s vital to remember to fill up our own cup. Recharge our batteries, if you will. Taking time to do things to care for yourself is not selfish, it’s necessary in order for us to live healthy, full lives, and not running on empty.
Drink your water, take a walk, read a book, spend time with your best friends, spend 5 extra minutes in the bath, book the hair appointment. Remember that you are a whole ass person and you are just as deserving of the generous care you offer others.
