Happy Women's Day from New Leaf Bodywork! Today we celebrate the resilience, power, and joy that women bring to all of us. Women are simply unstoppable, and we are so inspired by you. Thank you for all you do! 💖
With the type of work that I do, you won't find me using lots of oils, hot towels or stones, or many relaxation methods. Nothing wrong with these things- in fact, they're all quite lovely and I have some great colleagues I'll refer you to if you'd like more of a relaxing massage.
For our session I'll ask that you stay mostly dressed, with loose shorts and a tank top or sports bra. I can reach all the tissues I need to reach and stretch you comfortably while keeping you covered. I'll use minimal oil or even water in order to get a good grip on the tissues and work deeply with the fascia. No, I don't do it to be cheap or sadistic 😂😉
I like to keep my prices the same for the allotted time, whatever we end up doing in that timeframe- whether it's massage, stretching, Graston, kinesiotaping, cupping, or learning some at-home exercises. I do have a couple of pre-mixed essential oils upon request (Have you ever doused your scalp in peppermint oil while you have a headache? It's like a winter wonderland 🧊😍).
Bottom line is that I like to keep things simple! If you have other ways that I can be simplifying things for you, let me know so I can try to accommodate ☺️

Hi friends!
It's been a while since I've stopped to say hello and possibly introduce myself to some newer followers, so here's a photo of me in my natural habitat with a big ol' bbq brisket sammie haha.
I am a bodyworker in Knoxville, Tennessee and have been working in this field for about 3 1/2 years now. I've had the opportunity to work with some really amazing people, whether they be mentors, students, coaches, high school athletes, 9-to-5-ers, pro athletes, stay-at-home parents, or weekend warriors. Because the body holds and reflects the daily stresses we put into it, I truly believe that everyone can benefit from the healing nature of bodywork. Therefore I do my best to have a holistic approach and to encompass what can be going on in the mind and soul as well as just looking at physical imbalances (which, by the way, EVERYONE has. No one is perfectly balanced- but we can try!). My office is a space to feel safe in your mind and body.
Aside from my job I enjoy being a very human being. I have a life outside of work and friends I like to spend time with. Hobbies such as weightlifting and travel also occupy my time, as well as neverending home maintenance/improvement projects and subsequently stress management techniques 😵💫. I also have an awesome dog you'll probably meet when you come to see me 🐕
