One of the most important stages of becoming a PMU artist is practice.

The more practice, the better 🔥

On my training course, you start practice directly with online preparation (3 weeks) — you have short video lessons with homework (that I personally check).
There, we begin to practice hand placement and strokes on a piece of paper.

At the end of the online preparation, we continue to work offline in the studio - with the PMU machine from your starter kit 🎁

You also have 4 days to work with models — we are looking for models, so you don’t have to worry about it 🙌

☝️You work under my guidance, but my course is created so that you could work as independently as possible — because this is the only way to gain confident and strong skills. The more you get involved in the process during training, the easier it will be for you to work later without my control and advices 😉

Practice is your key to development.
And remember — there is no such thing as a “not your” profession. There is a goal — and if you move towards it, everything will work out. Desire + purposefulness = success 🔥

The second most difficult area after Shaded eyeliner...👄

A very delicate area, which is hard to work with for many PMU artists – because of the sensitive skin, prone to large swelling when pressed incorrectly, and the pigment doesn't always lay down as it should.

Lips are very interesting to work with and for me, it's about creativity 💕

When you know all the nuances of technique, etc., then work brings you pleasure, not worries ❤️

How many sessions are needed to get the desired result?🤔

In permanent makeup, we work with the skin (and the skin is an organ), so everything is very individual.

✅ Basically, 2 procedures are enough:

1️⃣ primary, main procedure – when your body “gets acquainted” with the pigment, a certain % of the pigment is excreted, the rest remains in the skin (what % of residue you'll have – no one can know for sure, but there are general statistics, according to which I guide clients about the expected result).

2️⃣ second procedure, touchup – it's a continuation of the primary procedure, in which the needed amount of pigment is added so that the healed result pleases you longer.

In my experience, the lighter the skin, the more sessions are usually needed to achieve the desired result. Everything is individual. For example, on very light skin, a healed permanent looks very soft and light – some clients like such a natural look, but usually an extra session (third procedure) is recommended. And on swarthy skin, one procedure is often enough (even without touchup), but remember - everything is individual.

❤️I always ask clients to give feedback after the first session (in 4-6 weeks), send photos and share their impressions so that I can see the healed result, find out if you like it, if you need to do a touchup, etc. Remember, a beautiful result is essentially a team work, you and the artist. You need to be ready to give feedback and be sure to follow all the care recommendations for the healing period and after 🙌

..recently I received such a message in Direct from a complete stranger😅

I'm glad that the world is changing and the mentality of people too. For those who grew up in the Soviet Union, eyebrows were something frivolous, and this stereotype has remained with them. But modern youth, who follow trends and fashion, are open to something new, don't like the stereotypes and have their own opinion - they will not agree with such an opinion about eyebrows, just like me.
Those "eyebrows" allow PMU artists to be realized and earn, often even more than IT specialists, lawyers or representatives of other professions.

So what is the portrait of a permanent makeup artist in 2023?💫
This is a person who:
✨realizes herself / himself, regardless of the opinions of others;
✨brings beauty and happy smiles to this world;
✨works carefully and diligently;
✨isn't afraid to develop, get new skills, and invest in it;
✨is an inspiring example for many women;

You see lips💋 before / sketch / after 💋

I draw different kinds of sketch. If the lips are very light, I prefer to draw a sketch with a red pencil so that all the lines and the work area can be clearly seen. Then I approve the sketch with the client and start doing permanent makeup ✍️

And you can see the result after the 1st procedure.

This is not the easiest PMU case👇

1) Lips have a non-standard shape, since the middle of the lip is swollen inside, which indicates that client has very sensitive skin and lips.
2) There are freckles, both on the lips and on the skin around. And we work with freckles, as with dark pigmentation.

Нужно ли уметь рисовать, чтобы стать мастером перманента?🤔

Подобрать, отрисовать красивую форму бровей, губ, стрелки, аккуратно выполнить процедуру перманента — задача не из лёгких.

Но почему же тогда у 95% мастеров перманента нет художественного образования или умения рисовать?

👉Перманентный макияж — это просто навык и есть чёткая схема, по которой создаётся эскиз, наносится контур, выполняется процедура.

Например, в ПМ нет каких-то сложных эскизов, как в татуировках. И сама краска не заходит под кожу настолько глубоко: при правильном выполнении перманента эффект бесследно исчезает на бровях спустя 2-3 года.

Сейчас идёт тренд на естественность — мы опираемся на исходную форму бровей/губ клиента. Не нужно рисовать брови/губы заново, как это было популярно раньше — тогда нужно было лучше ощущать эту форму, больше времени уделять отрисовке эскизов.
