Our First Friday artist of the month for March is Christina Kampus. Christina holds 4 degrees in art, mainly focusing on printmaking. She loves reading, art, collecting Pokemon, gaming, and her 2 dogs (Claire and Cadbury).

Join us this Friday, March 6 in our “Green Room” from 6:00-9:00pm for drinks, snacks and a viewing of Christina’s art. All the pieces will be available for purchase at the event and can be picked up at the end of the month.

Our friends will be joining us again this Saturday (2/28/26) for another pop up shop in our “Green Room”! If you’re out and about during our normal business hours (9am-2pm), stop in for some delicious sourdough and sweet treats! When they’re gone, they’re gone, so don’t wait!

We are hosting our inaugural First Friday Event on February 6, 2026 at 6:00pm. With it being our first time hosting an event like this in our new space, we wanted it to showcase what we, as a shop, are all about - COMMUNITY. We love the relational side of barbering and our goal is to use the new space we are curating as a way to build community with our clients, neighborhood, and city.

The show will be themed around the “heart of the community” and feature tons of local artists and friends with their own interpretations of what that means to them. Various sizes, styles, mediums, and ideas will be showcased and each piece will be available for purchase.

The artwork will be displayed in our “Green Room” at Hop’s Barbershop on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 6:00pm and remain at the shop throughout the month of February (so others can browse and purchase any remaining pieces). Then, at the end of the month, the artwork will be available to pickup at the shop if you have purchased a piece.

🧙‍♂️Come join us in our new Community “Green Room” at Hop’s Barbershop as we host JT from “Battle Books”. He will be explaining his new TTRPG and doing a short demo on gameplay for the group.

🎲 The demo will take you through everything from the brief rules set through running your own game. Feel free to hang out after the demo to play a game for yourself!
