ASMR & AUTISM-FRIENDLY SERVICES AT AMULET
For as long as I can remember, sound, touch, and sensory experiences have shaped the way I move through the world. Six years ago, I was formally diagnosed with autism, but the comfort I found in sound and calming sensory rituals has been a part of my life since childhood.

Over the past 25+ years, I have had the privilege of serving as a teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent in public, private, & tribal schools, learning from and advocating alongside children and adults with diverse sensory needs. Now, I have the opportunity to weave that experience together with my love of hair, skincare, and scalp care.

Sensory Sanctuary was created for anyone who longs for a gentler salon experience, whether you experience ASMR, have sensory sensitivities, are autistic, or simply need a peaceful place to rest.

In addition to our sensory-focused scalp and skin rituals, I also offer sensory-accommodating haircut appointments on Mondays and Tuesdays only. During these appointments, we will turn off the overhead music, enjoy a silent appointment, adjust lighting or conversation, and make thoughtful accommodations for you or your child whenever possible. No other customers or service providers will be present. My hope is that every guest feels safe, respected, and cared for in a way that honors their individual needs.
