At Shear Bliss the COVID-19 virus has changed our daily routine, the way we work and challenged us in unprecedented ways. We are fortunate that most of our prior practices and the set up of our facility allows us to go on with just a few small changes to be compliant with state laws. However, it hasn’t changed who we are as a salon, how we feel about our clients or the ways we are of service to you.
It is understood that there are many different opinions on what measures are necessary for the health and safety of us all. We as a team must err on the side of caution as we have contact with many whom we love dearly, who fall into the “at risk” group of our community. Rest assured we will continue to refine our processes and protocols in our salon with state laws, health, and safety as our guide. These required practices which enable us to serve you, are ever evolving and are subject to change almost daily. Your provider will guide you through with patience, kindness and understanding as we all work together during this extraordinary situation.


*Our facility has been thoroughly sanitized and we will continue with strict sanitation practices daily, 15-30 min before your appointment and between each customer. In order to limit our burden in this area we ask that you touch only surfaces that we would instruct you to.

*We are keeping a close eye on ourselves and each other and if we feel symptoms of illness we will contact you ahead of time to reschedule. If you have any symptoms of illness, please cancel your appointment and then reschedule with your provider once symptoms subside.

*We will be wearing a mask for the duration of your visit as required by our state laws on and after May 11th.

*All customers are asked to bring and wear a mask for the entire duration of your visit. If you absolutely do not have one we will provide one for you. Please know that our supplies are limited and this does burden your provider a bit, so please do your best to bring your own mask.

*Services that would require you to remove your mask will be suspended until we are no longer required to wear them.

*Please bring only necessary personal items to your appointment. If you bring in a cell phone and plan on using it, let us know and we will advise you on how to clean it.

*At this time we can not allow food or drinks to be brought into the salon and until further instructed we are not allowed to provide beverages.

*Our waiting room will be closed at this time. We ask that you call your provider upon arrival and they will instruct you from there.

*We are allowed only one guest per provider at a time. For now, additional guests are asked to wait in the car. If you have extenuating circumstances and cannot adhere to this, please contact your provider BEFORE the date of your appointment and they instruct you on this matter.

*If needed, seniors and those at high risk may contact their service provider for special hours that will further limit their contact with other customers and staff.

This situation will not define us. Rather, its our teams ability to provide most of the same services, in mostly the same environment, all of the same quality and just a few changes in sanitation practices that tells us that our salon is and was already AWESOME! And That is what defines us. Thank you for your loyalty and trust in us as we navigate this together. We appreciate those of you who took the time to check on us while we were closed. It made such a powerful and positive impact on us to know that you care about us too.
