What is Gel X? It is a pre-cured, full coverage tip made completely of gel. It was created with the same ingredients in gel polish. It is not plastic like your typical press on nail. Gel X, also known as soft gel tips are adhered to the natural nail using soft gel. Soft gel does not mean that it is any less durable or long lasting than acrylic nails or hard gel. It simply means it can be melted with acetone for a harmless and convenient soak off process. This system is a great alternative to acrylic nails. Gel X’s specially formulated nail tips are long lasting, thinner, more malleable, and more natural looking. The process requires very minimal filing so you avoid all the dust, odor, and harsh chemicals on the natural nail. These extensions come in many different shapes, lengths, and sizes and usually last up to 3 weeks with no lifting.
