Opening this barbershop in 2020 — right in the middle of a pandemic — was one of the biggest leaps of faith I’ve ever taken. I had never run a business before, had no rental history, and honestly had no idea exactly what I was doing… but I had a vision.

I wanted to create a space where traditional barbering met thoughtful, luxury care. A place where people could slow down, feel welcomed, and leave feeling better than when they walked in.

Being a woman in barbering and small business has been an incredible journey. Running a business means wearing a lot of hats — creator, problem solver, learner, leader — sometimes all in the same day. It takes resilience, heart, and a willingness to keep showing up even when things feel uncertain.

Small businesses run by women are built on passion, dedication, and the courage to turn an idea into something real. I’m incredibly proud to be part of that community of women who take risks, build something from the ground up, and support each other along the way.

I never could have done this without the support of this amazing community that believed in my dream.

And yes… men enjoy being taken care of. They just don’t always get invited to say it out loud. 😌
