A color correction journey! This client had had her brows done several years ago by another artist, they had faded red over time. Typically I always recommend removal for old work, but she really liked her existing shape so we went with color correction instead! The first picture is before, middle is immediately after using a green toned corrector, and the last photo is healed before touchup. What a difference! Please note, if you have any previous work I must see it before you book.

Let’s talk dark lip neutralization! My client has absolutely beautiful lips, but wants a more even, all over color. That’s when neutralization comes into play! If we just tattooed the same pigment over her entire lips, we would end up with healed results that were darker in the dark areas and still lighter in the light areas. So instead we spent our first session focusing only on the dark areas, adding absolutely no pigment to the light areas and look how much progress we were able to make in one session! Neutralization is a tricky process and takes multiple sessions of color correcting to get the desired healed results. I can’t wait to post more of this journey and her final results!

Today is my 30th(!!!)birthday and as I’m sitting and reflecting on this year, I think the absolute biggest thing I learned and still actively work on is not comparing myself to others. Feeling good about entering my 30’s as my 100% authentic self 💅🏾✨
