The End of an Era

I hope this post finds you well. It is with mixed emotions that I write to inform you of an important change in my life. After much reflection, I have made the difficult decision to step away from my career as a hairstylist in order to focus fully on my new path as a nurse.

As you know, I’ve had the privilege of being part of your beauty journey for the past 13 years. The time we’ve spent together—whether it was keeping up with the latest styles, sharing stories, or simply catching up—has meant so much to me. Your support, loyalty, and trust have been truly invaluable, and I am incredibly grateful for the relationships we've built over the years.

Balancing both the salon and nursing has been a rewarding challenge, but as my nursing career continues to grow, it’s become clear that I can no longer dedicate the time and attention that both careers deserve. While it’s difficult to say goodbye to the salon and all of the wonderful clients I’ve had the privilege to work with, I am excited about this next chapter in my life.

I want to thank you for allowing me to be part of your personal style and your life. Your trust and friendship have made these years memorable. I will always carry those experiences with me, and I hope we can keep in touch in other ways.

If you ever need recommendations for hairstylists or salon services, I’d be happy to point you in the right direction.

Remember I will be working 50% less as I start my new job as an RN.

Please please reach out with questions. This is all a little confusing even in my end!

I’ll try to keep this short and easy to follow:
-I start my nursing job this month (10/21) 👩🏼‍⚕️
- No I don’t know what my schedule will be other than 3x 12hr shifts a week and still trying to continue my 1x week volunteering and I don’t know when I will know.
- I do not know if I will be days or nights ☀️/🌒
-I do not know how far in advance I will receive my schedule nor how far out that schedule will be 🗓️
-I will be reducing the days at the salon from 8 per month to 1-4 per month
-Currently I will not be taking any more appointments until I get more figured out (tbd)🚫
-If you have an appointment currently booked with me I will contact you when I get a schedule and let you know yes we are good, or sorry I will have to cancel (might be day before,I have no idea) 👍🏼👎🏼
-If you need a referral message me and I can send you a list
-When/if I do open days for appointments it will be announced here, Facebook and email. It will be first come first serve. I cannot individually let people who want an appointment know (there’s like 115 of you guys lol 😅)

I’m sorry you guys, this is the best I can get you right now. When I know you will know…seriously. There is no tentative information, or me still trying to figure things out. That is the entirety of the information I currently have. It’s less than ideal I understand, and I have no problem giving you a list of referrals! I want to help where I can ❤️ We all knew this was coming. Let me know how I can help!

Another long over due process! Goal was brighter and warm for spring time!

Over a year since we last did her hair! About a 6hr process as she has the longest and thickest hair ever! Such a great canvas to work on!

Going from blonde to brunette is not for the faint of heart! But it’s great for those who want a instant major change!
