I’m also incredibly thankful to be surrounded by such a supportive community. Thank you to HERStrength PLV for providing such a welcoming space, and to my sister Chelsea at Vitality and Vine. While we each have our own specialties, we share the same passion for helping people move better, feel better, and prioritize their overall well-being.

Ever wonder why cupping feels so different from massage? 💆♀️
I like to describe it as the opposite of massage therapy. While massage works by applying pressure to the muscles to relieve tension and inflammation, cupping uses gentle suction to lift and decompress the tissue and creates space between all the layers. It can help improve circulation, encourage mobility, and provide a different way to address areas of tension.
Depending on what your body needs, I may use stationary cups to target a specific area or gliding cups as part of your massage to help work through tight muscles and fascia. Or sometimes, you need both!
Cupping isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment, but when it’s the right fit, it can be a wonderful addition to your massage session. 🤍
