Three yoga poses that can help improve skin tone and circulation. As an yoga instructor as well as an esthetician, I'd like to share with you, three of my favorite yoga poses that help increase skin tone and circulation.

1) Twisted Chair Pose (Parivrtta Utkatasana)
This pose helps stimulate circulation by twisting the torso, which helps to bring fresh blood flow to the organs and skin. It also helps tone the muscles in the legs and buttocks.

Begin standing with your feet hip-distance apart, and bend your knees as if you are sitting back into a chair. Place your hands in prayer position at your heart, and twist your torso to the right, hooking your left elbow outside your right knee. Hold for a few breaths, then repeat on the other side.

2) Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana)
Cobra pose is a backbend that helps stimulate blood flow to the face and neck, which can improve skin tone and texture. It also strengthens the muscles of the back and core.

Begin lying on your belly, with your hands under your shoulders and your elbows close to your body. As you inhale, press into your hands and lift your chest off the ground, keeping your elbows close to your body. Hold for a few breaths, then slowly lower back down.

3) Downward-Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)
Downward-facing dog is a great pose to improve circulation to the face and head, and can also help relieve tension in the neck and shoulders.

Begin on your hands and knees, with your wrists directly under your shoulders and your knees under your hips. Curl your toes under, lift your hips up and back, and straighten your arms and legs to come into an inverted V-shape. Press your hands and feet firmly into the ground, and hold for a few breaths.

These three poses can be incorporated into a regular yoga practice to help improve skin tone and circulation. Remember to breathe deeply and move with intention, and always honor your body's needs and limitations.
