This trend is perfect for busy working mamas, stay at home mamas, and even college students! The perfect blend allows you to go 3-6 months between appointments. And that peace of mind that you don’t need to rush to the salon or have an appointment every month is absolutely priceless.

How often do you want to be in the salon?

That’s a questions we always like to ask before diving into any kind of highlights. Maintenance for the different type of highlights I do can be anywhere between 6 weeks to 4 months so this question turns out to be an important one.

If you are looking for low maintenance, I always suggest a teasy-light like the one in this picture by .lexis

But if you like a super blonde look, I would definitely suggest foil highlights. They will get brighter and lighter, but the maintenance may end up being a bit more. Think 6-8 weeks instead of 3-4 months.

So I ask you, how often do you want to be in the salon?
