We started with an updated cut designed to support movement, shape, and definition. We focused on intentional product selection, proper application, and simple styling techniques to enhance his natural pattern.

Hi! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Michelle, and I’m the owner of Salon Aficionado…Orange County’s Curly Hair Specialists.

Here are a few fun facts about me…

➡️ I’ve been specializing in cutting waves and curls for 6 years.
➡️ I was a color specialist before I found my passion with naturally textured hair.

The best part about that is that you can begin to properly care for your hair at home before I even meet you!

Start with a hydrating cleanser and conditioner. I’ve used a TON of different product lines over the years, and I can promise you that they are not created equally! (I’ll save that for another post 😉)

I always love seeing Dilinus! He’s doing everything he needs to maintain his healthy curls. He comes in for his scheduled cuts 2-3 times per year and uses products that are free of silicones and oils.

I can’t take credit for that amazing fade. He has a barber that fades him up every couple of weeks keeping the perimeter clean.

I love a before and after! My client came in with chemical and mechanical damage. Her hair was also extremely dehydrated.

I was able to bring her curls back to life with proper hydration, quality products and a new shape.
