Hi friends! It has been a while since I’ve provided an update and we are definitely due for one 🥲

🫀 Homegirl is doing amazing, if you didn’t know there was something wrong with her then you wouldn’t know! She is a real life angel baby and we are both head over heels with her. She spent the first 26 days of life in the hospital and then had another 6 day stay in June. She has had two heart catheterizations and we are anticipating her first open heart surgery in August.

We are still in the Phoenix area and as of now we will be making this a 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞.
This is a heartbreaking decision when considering my clients and the treatment room but an easy decision to make for Kinlee. With a congenital heart defect, things can be good until they’re not and that can literally happen in seconds - We experienced this with her hospital visit in June. Medical in our small town of Lake Havasu doesn’t support infants let alone medical/cardiac infants. Phoenix Children’s Hospital is incredible and we need to stay close to her team in the event something were to happen.

We are still navigating fine details of life right now, as you can imagine our worlds got tossed around a little bit harder than the average introduction into parenthood.
Not returning to the treatment room does not mean my doors are fully closed. Product restocks, virtual appointments, skincare recommendations, tips + tricks are all still available!

After Homegirl has her surgery, things should become a little more “normal” and “routine” for us, once we are on the other side of that I do plan to restructure all of the things. Drop in Havasu visits may also be a thing!!
