Happy to get my Young Living brand Loyalty Reward order today! I placed the order on the 26th & it came today! That was quick! This set was back in stock & buying it as a set was much cheaper for me! Let me know if you would like more information on it to order for yourselves!

Our perennials are doing well, & seasonal plants! 🌱 The many types of pollinators are having a great & gleeful time! Some plants are just mainly for them!

More mullein flowers picked today! Two of my plants are done for the Summer & 3 are still blooming! I am drying these flowers out so that I can make a salve with them later! I also dried out some of the leaves early on this Summer - I will use these for hot tea blends



I don’t let my family mow these plants down. If they grow in an odd place they are replanted off the side of the yard. Only one of these I had to replant this year!

We threw an old pumpkin in this tree a couple of months ago (it was from last year) & now we have some vines growing! Maybe we can see a new pumpkin grow here soon. (That is if the groundhogs don’t eat the vines & leaves!)

Butterflies are loving our pick of annual flowers this year! The silver spotted skipper is especially loving them today! I guess my hunch was right that they love

Mullein plants-have you ever seen them? If so, have you ever used parts of the plant? There are many medicinal properties in it too! Leaves are good for poultices, teas, & many more things. The little yellow flowers are good for many things too. A few years ago I put them in olive oil for making a salve. I’m going to do this again but this time I am drying the flowers out before putting them in oil. Bees wax & shea butter will be added to the olive oil mixture after a few weeks. —> more to come

Our monthly orders for Young Living came in this week! We tried a new oil that we really like too-Simplified-Grapefruit Sorbet! It’s a yummy scent! Cardamom is a great oil for use in cooking or baking & I will take it in a capsule or put in hot teas for myself! LavaDerm is a great spray for skin! If we get bites or burns we can use this! We also tried the other two supplements last month & now received them again, the gummies are easy ti chew & Inner Boost is a good vitamin mix to be added to your juice or water!

We have a variety of tomato plants this Summer! I picked a bunch on their vines & put them in our window to ripen! Loving all the colors of tomatoes now. My son loves to eat them raw as a snack! I usually buy them & cook + make into a sauce. I may do that with these as well.

Perennials are “up & at um!” They are blooming! Lilies, hostas, tomatoes, Meyer lemon - The hummingbirds, dragonflies, moths, butterflies & bees are loving it!

Did some planting this week! Time to do some more on my back deck or yard this weekend too. Perennials we have are photographed too!
