Today has been my last day working at the salon. It’s a bitter sweet day for myself.

I would like to thank Vickie for taking me in and allowing me to grow into the person I’m still becoming. I will always appreciate her for all she’s done for me. I’m thankful for her guidance and friendship.

I would like to also thank all of her clients who have also become friends to me. I appreciate everyone who supported me and expressed an interest in knowing more about me. Each client that asked how I was doing in school was an extra bit of motivation for me to do well. It has always meant a lot to me.

Hi everyone!

The city of Lake Wales has issued a mask mandate as of August 18.

We are asking that our clients please use a face mask while visiting our salon and use our outdoor waiting area before appointments.

Thank you for understanding and for your cooperation!

Help me in wishing Brett Roberts well in her next journey in this life. She is moving abroad! She will be terribly missed but we are extremely happy for her.

Governor DeSantis has mandated that salons in Florida stay closed. We have no way of knowing when we can reopen. We are hopeful that we will be able to reopen during phase 2 and are hopeful that will be no more than 2 weeks. At this time we do not have a date that we can take appointments. We are very sorry and have missed you. We also hope that you are healthy and safe. When we get a date that we can reopen, we will call to schedule your appointment.

Apparently hair salons aren’t essential businesses...

Under the stay at home orders in the state of Florida we will be closed for the remainder of the order.

As of now we will be reopening May 5th. If you have an appointment between now and then we will be reaching out to reschedule appointments. If your appointment is after May 5th, your appointment still stands.

You can reach us here through messenger or call and leave a voicemail at the salon if you need to speak to us in the meantime.

Just a quick update:

For clients that use our text reminders, we’ve changed the reminder date to 4 days before your appointment instead of 2. We’re hoping this will give clients more time to confirm or reschedule if needed.

So don’t panic when you get it... your appointment is still a few days away.

Due to the current situation, in the coming weeks we’re planning to go to limited hours in the salon.

We’re working hard to make sure every client is taken care of but also keeping their health and our own in mind. We are still sanitizing after each client and asking that anyone who feels unwell to reschedule their appointment. With that being said, as long as you still feel comfortable, we will be here for your appointment.

We’re anticipating a potential full closure if we’re required by the state. However, we don’t know quite what the future holds.

We appreciate your continued support and hope to be back to normal as soon as possible.
