Rebecca should be counting down the days until two more grandchildren arrive. Instead, she’s preparing for a double mastectomy and facing so many unknowns about what comes next.

This is why Boxed by an Angel exists. To remind women going through some of the hardest moments of their lives that someone is thinking about them, praying for them and showing up for them. 💗

If you’d like to support our mission or nominate someone who could use a little extra love, visit boxedbyanangel.com. 💞✨

Hi friends and fighters,

I’ve been a little quiet here, and I wanted to share why. This past week, my dad has been in the hospital. Our family has been by his side, doing everything we can and it’s been hard in a way I wasn’t fully prepared for.

Being on the caregiver side is something different. When I was going through treatment, I knew it was hard on the people around me, but I don’t think I truly understood the weight of it until now. The constant worry, the decisions, the feeling that you want to fix it but can’t. You just show up, stay present and keep going.

It’s given me a whole new appreciation for caregivers. The quiet strength it takes. The patience. The love that carries people through moments like these.

Thank you for the prayers, messages and support for my dad. It means more than I can say. And thank you to the friends and family who have been holding me up this week. I love you…and I’m so grateful.

I’ll be back soon, but for now I’m right where I need to be. 🫶🏼
