I hear all the time online: “Why are nails so expensive now? What happened to $25 sets??”

Well, let me give you a peek into what our products cost and help you understand:)
Half of these products aren’t just purchase once. They need to be repurchased/replaced quite often.
•My $300 nail lamp will need replaced 1-2 years after purchasing with the amount of clients I see a day
•Cuticle nippers need replacing every 2-3 months and my e-file bits need replacing every 1-2 months. I keep around 8 of each on hand at all times.
•I go through a $30 hard gel pot once a month
•A bottle of quality gel polish can range anywhere from $8-20 a bottle, and I have over 300 colors for clients to choose from

And that’s only touching the surface. There’s a lot of other supplies that I didn’t include; as well as rent, utilities, booking site, website, payment fees from my card processing system, price of schooling/extra classes, etc. There’s a lot of expenses that nobody sees. The amount that my clients pay at the end of their service is not 100% income. So while I wish I could be affordable to absolutely everyone, it’s just not possible if I want to be able to afford my bills and day to day life.

So, if you’ve ever wondered why the prices of nails has gone up, I hope this sheds some light on why:) And I am so grateful to every one of my clients who accounts my service into their budget and appreciates my work. I love you all
