I haven’t seen this girl since December of last year, and when I asked “What’s new?” she said oh, I had a baby 🤯 girl what?!!

Anyway, social media has officially rotted my brain into thinking every photo needs to be flawless to deserve a spot on the internet. Meanwhile, real life is not a perfectly edited Instagram grid, and this green is TOO GOOD not to share 💚

So here’s your reminder (mostly to myself) that perfection is boring, real life is allowed to look like real life, and sometimes the hair deserves to be posted even if the photo isn’t winning any awards 🫶🏼

Sometimes, the best way to make your hair look more is by taking a little off ✂️

If you’re experiencing hair loss (due to postpartum, weight loss, etc), one of the best ways to create the illusion of thicker, healthier-looking hair is a blunt lob.

By removing those thinner-looking ends and creating a clean, solid perimeter, your hair will have a fuller appearance and a fresh, healthy looking finish.

A good haircut won’t stop the shedding itself, but the right shape can make a world of difference in how your hair looks and feels while it grows back 🫶🏻

Unpopular opinion:

I truly don’t mind when clients bring me AI inspo for their hair (whether they know it or not.)

Inspo is inspo. You could bring me a picture of a dogs ear and I’ll still be able to infer the color that you are hoping to achieve 🤷🏻‍♀️

Inspiration is for guidance, not duplication. As long as the expectations are realistic, I can work with it, babe 🫶🏻

Raise your hand if you’ve been personally victimized by my inability to take a before or after photo of your hair 😅 I’m still out here doin the thing guys, but I only remember to document about 5% of it 🤷🏻‍♀️
