I love getting to different shapes and styles everyday but I think as artists we all have a “fave” and mine is definitely the drama for all my lil mamas!

What is your favorite style or shape?

All too often I hear people think that lash extensions are damaging…I’m here to tell you that they ABSOLUTELY CAN BE DAMAGING! If you don’t have a well educated artist/ someone who takes pride in their work, your natural lashes can suffer.

I unfortunately have seen too many times extensions being applied that are too long and too heavy for the natural lash to support resulting in natural lashes being broken off and/or pulled out prematurely. It is important to find an artist who is well versed in how to choose appropriate length and weight for each individual client’s lashes.

If eyelash extensions are applied properly (isolated one by one) and appropriate length and size are used, eyelash extensions can be worn for years without needing “a break”.

Can you believe these are her natural lashes?! 😲

If you have had a reaction to eyelash extensions in the past or if eyelash extensions are a little too much upkeep for you, then a lash lift would be the perfect solution!

A lash lift is a semi permanent service that lasts for 6-8 weeks. A silicone rod or shield gets adhered to your eyelid, your natural lashes are then adhered into the shield and a two step process of solutions are applied that gives your natural lashes a lift and curl! This service can make your lashes appear much longer because they’re being lifted from the base of the lash line in a unpward position…think similar to an eyelash curler but wayyyy better and more healthy and safe for your natural lashes!

There is just something about a natural set that will always hold a special place in my heart.

What makes a good set of lashes vs. an amazing set of lashes?

A number of things can set lash artists apart. Would say that the most important thing above all else is isolation. If your lash artist isn’t ensuring that you only have one classic extension or one fan, solely adhered to one natural lash, you’re going to have damage caused.

As lash artists, it’s our upmost priority to keep the integrity of your natural lashes happy and healthy! This means properly isolating EACH AND EVERY last little lash. 🤍
