🚨Our reaction… OH BOY 🤦🏼♀️! HOT TAKE: Not every client is a good candidate for hairstrokes.
We know… that one might ruffle a few feathers. 👀
The truth is, choosing the right technique isn’t about what’s trending. It’s about what’s best for the client’s skin.
Hairstrokes may not be the ideal choice for clients with:
✨ Oily skin
✨ Large pores
✨ Textured or mature skin
✨ Very ruddy or highly vascular skin
✨ Previous PMU that requires color correction
These skin types can cause hairstrokes to soften, blur together, or heal differently than intended. Sometimes a soft powder brow or another approach will provide a more beautiful, longer-lasting healed result.
The goal isn’t to give every client the same service.
