Today 1984 my mind was blown!! “Purple Rain”
was released in theaters on this date. A story, a film and a concert all in one. The great Prince and his band The Revolution, Morris Day and the Time and Appollonia!!! The movie and the soundtrack/album are musical classics!!!

The second album by Rappin 4 Tay “Don’t fight the Feelin” was released today 1994. 4 Tay’s biggest records “Playaz Club” and “I’ll be Around” were in this album. The album featured JT the Bigga Figga and some production from Ant Banks.

Born on this date Keith Sweat!!!! Pictured here with some Hip Hop legends P Diddy, Ludacris and Jermaine Dupri. Born in Harlem NY, Sweat was a front runner in the RnB game late 80’s early 90’s. One of the first heads of the New Jack Swing Era. His distinct voice and the hit records he created are classic. Happy Birthday!!!!!
