I tried gold eyeshadow on my lid yesterday! Thoughts??? I kinda like it, but I think it would look better on a different eye color. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve had a few questions about how much editing I do on my photos that I’ve been posting.... and this is a photo of one of my photos in the camera with 0 edit. I will edit my eyes and brighten them up some and brighten my teeth some. Or even remove a random eye lash on my face. Or a shadow from bad lighting. I know how to edit and photoshop from being a photographer for a couple of years and from all the photography classes I’ve taken but I am not going to do that with my makeup post!

1.) it’s not real or reachable. Always be truthful.
2.) Unique or different looks/features are all beautiful and are not flaws in any shape or form.
3.) makeup is supposed to be used to enhance your own beautiful features that you already have.
4.)I’ve personally tried some makeup tutorials and did everything step by step and it did look like their end result in the video. But NEVER looks like the photoshopped photo they posted. And that is so irritating.

Now I’m not bashing any other makeup artist. And NOT All of them so this. I think it’s beautiful work and as a photographer I am SUPER impressed with their photoshop/editing skills!!
I love looking at posts as a photographer and thinking wow they edited this amazing. They raised their eyebrows, made their nose smaller and straighter, took off wrinkles, smoothed their skin, darkened their eyeshadow and faded it out, sharpened their glitter, lightened under their eyes, moved their cheek bones up, darkened their crease, spot removed all their blemishes, sharpened every individual eye lash, made their lips bigger, teeth are impeccable, sharpened their highlight and lightened it, darkened their eyebrows and faded them, removed all the lines in their lips and around them, and moved their jawline up.....

What I’m trying to say is I want to keep mine as real as possible that way it’s a reachable makeup look for everyone to achieve! Love you all 💜💜💜
