Allow me to reintroduce myself—I’m Tanaz Ukani, the heart and hands behind By The Blade, where precision meets passion. Born and raised in Georgia, I’m a licensed registered nurse with 6 years of experience in women’s health and outpatient surgery—and a cosmetologist of over 8 years. I’ve spent my career caring for women in many stages of their lives, and that same level of intention and care is what I bring into my treatment room today. My journey into beauty started with a little push from my mom, who saw something in me before I even did. She encouraged me to explore cosmetology alongside nursing—and that decision opened the door to a path I didn’t know I needed. Over time, I realized this wasn’t just a creative outlet—it was my true passion. Through facials, threading, waxing, microblading, brow lamination and tint, and lash lifts, my mission is to enhance what’s already there—to help every client walk out feeling confident, radiant, and empowered.
