NOPE. Everyone is not a good candidate for two strand twist locs. 🫢

Hair texture, density, and curl pattern all matter when choosing a loc installation method.

Some of y’all are walking around here with skinny, frizzy roots and fat, bunchy ends because:

1) your natural curl pattern is loose-textured and/or wiry

2) the ends of your locs were never fully loc’d all the way down

3) or they unraveled once you started shampooing them at home

And let me also say, in my huuumble professional opinion…SUPER high-density hair isn’t suitable for two strand twist locs either. Those locs will swell super thick and turn into a full-on lion’s mane 🦁.

The goal shouldn't be trends or a cheaper price. It should be longevity, convenience, and easy maintenance while looking FABULOUS!

Please take your time choosing a well-trained loctician who can properly guide you on which loc method is best suited for you — not just based on how well they can install a fire grid.
