My beautiful client came in after attempting to lighten her hair at home with a blonde box color. The result left her with intense orange tones, heavy lines of demarcation, and very porous ends from previous highlighting services. Needless to say, we had our work cut out for us!
Using a highly customized highlighting technique, strategic color placement, and a soft all-over gloss to blend and balance everything together, we were able to create a seamless, beautiful result while respecting the integrity of her hair.
The best part wasn’t the gorgeous color we achieved in just 2½ hours—it was watching her confidence return when she saw herself in the mirror. There may have been a few tears in the salon today… and honestly, moments like that are why I love what I do. ❤️

12 weeks of grow out and a full year into her gray blending journey… and this is exactly why I love creating customized color. 🤍
Our goal has never been to completely cover her beautiful snow-white hair, but instead to enhance it while maintaining rich depth, warmth, and dimension throughout the rest of her color. The biggest challenge with naturally white hair is protecting its integrity — keeping those bright ribbons crisp and luminous without unwanted color staining or dullness. Precision matters in every step.
What I adore most about this look is the contrast between the soft cool white tones and the warm richness woven throughout the hair. Together, they create such a signature, elevated look that embraces aging while still feeling modern, stylish, and effortlessly chic. We paired it with the perfect shag-inspired cut for that playful “sassy 60” energy and honestly… she wears it flawlessly. ✨
