People may think what I do now is superficial. It’s not. At least it’s not how I operate. I spent fifteen years in my previous career, and most of my experience and lessons learned translate to personal styling.

People are the most important thing. I managed teams for a decade, and getting to know my team on a deep level helped me to support them in the best way possible. Servant leader, always.

Lean manufacturing is about identifying what isn’t serving the process, and ruthlessly cutting it out. I do the same thing with your closet. I see the pieces that are draining you, and taking up space and energy, and help you remove them so that what’s left actually works for you.

This isn’t vanity. In the corporate world, how do you show up in a room changes how fast people trust you and your ideas. Plus, the last thing you need is to be stressed out about what to wear the night before an interview or a big presentation.

You don’t rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems. Systems for everything. Full stop.

Not as muted as autumn, not as bright as spring. The warm palette in the 16-season color analysis system sits right in the middle of true autumn and true spring, and it’s one of my favorite palettes. I call it the Farm Rio palette. Fun, warm, full of life. Perfect for resort wear, but honestly stunning all year round!

Warm springs and warm autumns usually have green, hazel, or warm brown eyes (can be any color really but warm and sometimes have freckles), and warmth running through their hair, whether that shows up as red or golden tones.

And yes, I always tell my warm clients to rock an OPI Cajun Shrimp nail. 🦐🔥

In the sixteen season color analysis system, Light Spring and Light Summer share the same softness, the same low contrast, the same need to avoid anything too bold or too dark.
