Hi hair friends!

I miss you all so much and can’t wait to see you. I wanted to go over a few things before we open back up. The salon has changed so much while you were away. I hope some of the changes you love. The salon is opening back up on June 10th. Each of us are following the guidelines put out by the Virginia Health Department and Virginia Department of Occupational regulations. I wanted to go over these with each of you so you know how your appointment will go. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to text or call me. I’d love to go over what we are doing to keep the salon as safe as possible.


When you arrive for your appointment please call or text me at 571-283-5406 let me know you are here. You must wait in your car or outside until I can make sure everything is properly sanitized and can meet you at the door.
Once I meet you at the door I will have to perform a temperature check, and ask you a series of questions. Please answer questions honestly.
You will then need to sign a risk waiver. Coming to the salon does hold a risk of exposure to COVID-19.
It is required that you wear a mask during your appointment. (No exceptions) Please make sure you have an ear loop mask and not one that wraps around your head. If you are getting a color service I suggest one that you don’t mind getting color on or if you would like to wrap the ear loops in foil before you enter the salon that would work also.
All clients without a mask can buy one from me while supplies last.
When you enter the salon and before we get started you will be asked to sanitize your hands.
If you are showing symptom’s you will be turned away and invoiced for 50% of your appointment. If you have symptoms please call and cancel as soon as you can so I may accommodate someone on the waitlist.
Timeliness is important right now if you are late your appointment will be canceled and you will be charged 50% of your appointment. I need every minute I can get to make sure the salon is safe and ready for the client after you, so please be on time.
Please leave your coat, extra bags, and unnecessary items in your car. I am unable to serve drinks, and there will no longer be magazines.
I am only allowed to serve one client at a time. This will greatly limit the number of clients I can see in a day.
Only guests who have appointment are allowed in the salon. (No family, friends, children, eta. NO exceptions allowed)
I will not be able to lengthy appointments at this time. As much as I love a good color makeover or color correction, I will have to put a pause on that.
Due to modified service times I will not be able to do a full blow-dry service nor will I be able to “squeeze in” or “add-on” any additional services. I will dry your hair enough to ensure the quality of service.
Right now I do not have online booking open. Please text me and let me know what services you are looking for I will add you to the scheduling list. I will contact you back in the order I receive messages. Please be patient with me as this is all uncharted territory.


I know these are different times and the salon will not be the same for a little bit. I also know that it’s not ideal and that these guidelines might seem a bit ridged to some, but your health and the health of the community is of the upmost importance to me. Once day I will be able to give you a big ol’ hug again.

It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to close until our public health crisis is under control. I am hoping that by closing I will help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. This was a very difficult decision for me to make because I cherish the time I spend with each of my clients and I very deeply love what I do. However, I feel making this decision is the right one for my family, my clients as well as my community’s safety.
