To tweeze or not to tweeze? The answer is always no. There is a little muscle called the Arrector Pili Muscle that’s responsible for goosebumps but also keeps the structure of the follicle straight. Tweezing or waxing can weaken the muscle leading to a distorted follicle which in turn may cause an ingrown hair(s). Studies have also shown that a tweezed or waxed hair may regenerate into a stronger hair. There is more to the story regarding the hairs next to the one(s) that were plucked and we are happy to answer any questions you may have. Until then, put down the tweezers and pick up a razor😉
