GROWING YOUR HAIR OUT? Some tricks and tips for speed up the process:
-HEAT PROTECTION: always always always use a heat protector when styling with irons and even when blowdrying! i recommend a spritz vs. an oil (covers more hair without weighing it down)
-FREQUENT TRIMS: do not go longer than 10 weeks without trimming your ends. Once your ends begin to split, rather than growing longer, they grow in numerous directions.
-AIR DRY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE: use tricks to create "styles" without the damage of actually styling. Example: shower beofre bed, put mouse in your hair, braid in pigtails, take them out the next morning and you will have loose tosled waves!
-USE GOOD SHAMPOO AND COND.: Generic shampoos and cond. (suave, pantein pro-v, dove) contain sulfates which coat your hair rather than clean and condition it.
