We would like to thank our local FACES (Friends At Church Eating & Socializing) group for inviting us to a beautiful local garden setting to share knowledge of indigenous flora! We enjoyed spending time with friends, family, a few new faces, and hope we can do it again sometime!

I would like to thank the Chapin Ruritan for having the Root Dr out for a little talk and feeding me. I had a good time seeing some familiar faces and meeting new ones. I hope everyone enjoyed it and maybe learned a little something. The Ruritan does a lot for our community and has as long as I've been around. I even played for a couple of Little League teams that they sponsored when I was young. Thank yall for all you do, it feels good to give back. Hope to see everyone soon!

Who is ready for Spring? It is almost that time of year! The Root Dr. cordially invites you to an event celebrating the season. This year, we will be teaching a class on Edible and Medicinal landscaping at the Old Barn in Chapin. In addition to the class, there will be plants, products, and possibly other vendors available. The cost is $35 per person. Please share this invitation with others and contact us to reserve your spot, as space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Jen’s office has a pumpkin decorating contest every year & this year she sculpted an octopus out of Crayola air dry clay & used a pumpkin for his head. Wow, what a class! The Old Barn Farm provided an intimate atmosphere for our group of 40+ people. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or group to commune with. Not only did we enjoy your company, but your questions and engagement made it a fun night. We have added a few photos and are sorry that we did not get any of the plant walk. Our Artisinal Limited Batch Honey is available for purchase. Local Raw Honey infused with our own Organically grown Roses from right here on the farm. Infused for months to extract all of the goodness out of the Roses. This will be something we will sell year around, but this is our 1st release and once it is gone, you'll have to wait til next season to get it again! Roses are a great nervine and resonate at a very high frequency, spreading love and cheer. Get yours for you or for a loved one while they last. Here is to a great New Year of Love!
