Summer should be about sunshine, vacations, beach days, and feeling comfortable in your skin — not razor burn, ingrown hairs, or the constant cycle of shaving.
Electrolysis is the only FDA-recognized method of permanent hair removal and is effective for all skin types. Whether you're planning beach days, pool parties, vacations, or simply enjoying the sunshine, imagine one less thing to worry about.

Did you know? The average person has approximately 5 million hair follicles on their body. (Source: Cleveland Clinic)
Only a small percentage are located on the scalp—the rest are distributed throughout the body. Hair growth patterns vary from person to person, which is one reason treatment plans are individualized.

Polycystic O***y Syndrome, formerly known as PCOS, has been renamed PMOS: Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome. This updated terminology reflects a broader understanding of the condition as one involving ovarian, endocrine, and metabolic factors—not simply “cysts” on the ovaries.
For the electrology profession, this evolving understanding is important. Hirsutism remains one of the most common concerns associated with PMOS, and electrologists frequently work with clients seeking long-term hair removal solutions.
The transition from PCOS to PMOS is an evolving change, with implementation into clinical guidelines and broader practice expected to continue through 2028.
As research and terminology continue to evolve, staying informed helps ensure our profession remains educated, aware, and prepared to support individuals affected by this condition.
