Hi I wanted to introduce myself I have a lot of new guest lately, my name is nikki seelye I have been licensed cosmetologist since 1999 and certified extension specialist in 2006 also I became a makeup artist in 2009. I started my career assisting my dear friend Wanda right out of beauty school.I believe I'm a stylist today because of her.She taught so much behind the chair. We are still such great friends
I also worked at a salon in grayslake called nails under the sun for 20 years, My roots were born there and I will forever be grateful for my time and the relationships I established. When I had my daughter i decided to go off on my own.I've had my own studio space now 8 years in november in libertyville. Having my own space has allowed me to spend time with my daughter and family and help with school activities and be fully present as a mom.

Outside of my studio I love spending time outdoors with my family , and my dog Brooke and travelling with my husband and daughter and friends and trying new restaurants and coffee shops.
At the moment , i'm loving cooking in the kitchen and trying new recipes , it's the best therapy and truly brings me joy
You will also find me at the dog park with my doggy.And I love my festivals lol

What truly inspires me as a hairstylist , is culture and experiencing different parts of the world and people

Being a hairstylist for me is just more than fundamentals of cutting and coloring.For me, hair is my source of creative expression and connection, I love connection .. My goal is to create authentic experience and understand your hair needs and goals and healthy scalp and healthy hair growth
My social media presence is not large but being present in my studio is very important to me
