Our food pantries have been hit harder than normal due to the recent government shut down. This is heartbreaking considering so many families rely on them to feed their families especially during the holiday season.

They are in need right now of canned meats like tuna, chicken, SPAM, etc.

So let’s stock them up!!

From now through December 4th for every can you bring to the salon, you’ll receive $1 off of your service that day with me (or future service if you drop it off before your appointment)

The only exclusions apply to new extension hair installs and retail products. If you donate more than what your appointment is worth, you’ll receive a credit for the remainder amount for your next appointment.

Today went a little sideways in the salon. Color didn’t color like it should color. I was one client behind. And then two clients behind. I had to skip lunch. And I had to call the school to save me by sending my kids to the after school program because I wouldn’t be there in time to get them.

But each one of my clients were so sweet, and patient as they had to wait for me to get to them. One was full of so much grace as I had to redo her hair color.

Everyone left my chair beautiful, happy and thanked ME for taking care of them! When I was the one filled with so much gratitude for their patience and grace with me!

God has sent me the best people and in a time where hair stylists have been dragged across the internet and people seem to be choosing hatred over kindness.

Today my clients chose kindness and that changed the trajectory of my day 🫶🏻

Sometimes I forget to take a photo of the before. Sometimes I forget the after. Luckily after 5.5 hours, (yes you read that right) it was the before that I forgot and I was able to capture the beautifully blended after shot!

This glowing client came in to our salon for the first time and wanted to be bright, blended and dimensional. She has thick, coarse, extremely dark hair and had not had it done in 2 years. So there was a lot of foils, A LOT of lightener, and a lot of intricate blending to be done.

That transition from super dark to super light isn’t easy but it’s worth the extra time. Not only does it look seamless but the grow out is *chefs kiss* 💋
