This is very much out of my comfort zone. I’m really putting myself out there. But if I want to be able to spread awareness for this awful disease, I have to show the really bad moments too. I’ve been bawling on and off all day due to just how painful this is becoming. The pain is making me sick, and throwing me into so many panic attacks. I’m truly having the worst RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis) flare up. I’m praying the PJP heals just fine so I can get on some kind of treatment for the arthritis. Somedays I can handle it, some days I can’t. And today has been one of those days I just can’t handle the pain. My mother has been staying with me at the hospital every day and she’s been having to help dress me, and basically carrying me to the bathroom because I can’t hardly walk. There needs to be more research and better treatments. There needs to be a cure. Steroids is not the answer, sure it can help, but in the long run it will damage your body..just like it’s damaged mine. I’m so tired of my body being in constant fight or flight mode.

Having a weak immune system isn’t for the weak. I’m in so much pain. The strangest part of this whole thing, I went to bed Thursday night just fine, and then woke up at 12am Friday morning unable to breathe. I went to the ER and instantly started throwing/coughing up a lot of blood. I have a really bad pneumonia again, and my lungs are just not healing good enough. I’m pretty scared, but I know I’m in good hands in the ICU.

The side of Rheumatoid Arthritis that you don’t see because it’s being suppressed. I try my hardest to not seem sick. But this time around my lungs are giving up on me. And I’ve been struggling something terrible to breathe. Just know you aren’t alone.💕🥺 we are in this fight together!
