Our journey begins in Spring 2021.

Euphoria airbrush makeup inspo for my niece’s prom! I love how it turned out with the pop of blue, shimmery eyeliner to complement her dress. 😍

Emily was my first official airbrush makeup client. As the sister-of-the-bride, she wanted a simple and elegant look to complement her stunning blue bridesmaid dress.

When working with younger clients, I prefer to keep the skin as fresh and dewy as possible. I think we achieved this goal and Emily was a happy bridesmaid on her sister’s big day! 💐

This Twiggy-inspired 1960s eye look has been one of my favorites throughout my journey in Esthetician School. Bold shades of winged blue shadow paired with super long strip lashes on top and individual falsies on the bottom lashes. ✌️

I love how her eyebrows turned out after reshaping them with hard wax!

I had so much fun giving a glow-up to my coworker who is typically a minimalist when it comes to her makeup routine. Some contour, brows, and a mesmerizing lip really took this subtle glam over the edge, in my opinion.

On Saturday, I had my first bridal airbrush makeup application for this beautiful client! She was looking for a simple look, as she does not wear much makeup on a day-to-day basis. The goal was to make her look like the very best version of herself, and I think we accomplished that!

To see her beaming with excitement was a very meaningful experience as an esthetician and makeup artist starting out. I’m glad I got to be a part of her special day by helping her feel even more beautiful than she already is!

Once I finish with boards in late August, I’ll post my starting prices for bridal and prom makeup and begin to take clients! Let me know if you have an upcoming event and I’d be happy to put you in my books for the fall season! 🌺

Today I picked up these tulips from Trader Joe’s with the intention of planting them in the backyard once gardening season begins. We already have an abundance of flowers getting ready to bloom — roses, iris, lily of the valley, peonies, and countless others. But what’s special about the simplicity of the tulip is that it doesn’t strive to impress anyone. It doesn’t struggle to be different than a rose. It doesn’t have to. It is different. And there’s room in the garden for every flower. I look forward to adding tulips to our catalogue. But most of all, I look forward to all the new and different opportunities this spring will bring.

Thank you to all who have supported me in this new chapter of my life. My heart is full and my soul is happy. 🌷

Some professional news. ⬇️

Welcome, family and friends!

As some of you may already know, March 2021 will mark the beginning of a major transition in my career. I will be leaving the corporate realm of Advertising and Public Relations and make a professional shift toward educating myself in the art and science world of skincare and makeup.

Training begins at the end of March and I will be posting many photos of my progress as I continue to build my portfolio and ultimately gain a steady client base. Upon graduation in July 2021 and becoming certified with the state of Nebraska, I will be ready to branch out on my own.

Thanks to all family and friends who have supported me during this transition. I look forward to posting more updates as I learn the latest innovations in skincare, beauty, and the esthetics industry as a whole.

Love and light,
Casey
