This summer’s unofficial family hobby: homemade ice cream. 🍦☀️

The kids have been obsessed with dreaming up new flavors, sneaking extra sprinkles, and volunteering for “quality control.” It’s messy, it’s sweet, and somehow every batch disappears faster than the last.

Core memories, sticky fingers, and lots of ice cream. We’d call that a successful summer! 💛

Around here, life is full—kids’ schedules, ball games, church, work, making supper, and trying to keep up with the laundry. 🤪

Happy 4th of July weekend, friends! 🇺🇸❤️

We are ready to grill and fireworks. I already know I’ll be enjoying some of my favorites… burgers, pasta salad, 4th of July cake… all the delicious things! 😋

This weekend is about gratitude—for our freedom, for the people gathered around our table, and for the God who blesses us with both.

One thing I’ve learned is that healthy living isn’t about perfection. It’s about stewardship. God didn’t call us to live in guilt or extremes. He calls us to care for the bodies He’s given us while also enjoying the good gifts He provides.

So this weekend, I’ll enjoy the food, laugh a lot, make memories, and keep a few simple habits:
🇺🇸 Prioritize protein.
💪 Get some movement in before the festivities.
💧 Drink plenty of water.
❤️ Be fully present with the people around me.

One meal won’t ruin your progress, just like one healthy meal won’t change your life. Faithfulness is built in the small choices we make over time.
