How amazing is it that I get to look out my spa storefront and see this view 🩷

So many of my early esthetician years were spent in closed-off rooms… or staring out at concrete and parking lots.

Now I come to work, hear the birds chirping, and get to take in this beautiful campus every single day.

My spa isn’t the fanciest. She’s in an older building, with creaky floors and her own little quirks… and yes, I’ve definitely thought about moving into something newer and more “modern.”

But the truth is… I used to drive by this area for years and dream about what it would feel like to be here.

And now I am.

So sometimes I just have to pause and remind myself how far I’ve come 🩷✨

I’ve had a lot of people ask who does my lashes…

Surprisingly… I do them myself 😆I use Flutter Habit lashes and redo them every 7–10 days. I genuinely love them.

When I turned 40, I wanted a little confidence booster, and that was one thing I did for myself 💕

And can we talk about the little wrinkle between my eyes? She used to bother me even in my 20s… but honestly? We’ve been through some things together, so I’ve embraced her 😂

I practice good skincare and natural aging. I haven’t done injections or fillers in about 4 years.

And listen — if you love injectables, I support you completely. No judgment ever.

But I also want women to feel confident hearing the other side too…

You do not have to “fix” every line on your face to be beautiful.

You can age naturally.You can wear lashes and red lipstick.You can take care of your skin.You can embrace expression lines.You can do both.

Aging is a privilege… and confidence doesn’t have to come in a syringe.

Doing hard things wide-eyed and sober hits different.

Lately I’ve thought a lot about what it means to walk through heartbreak, stress, disappointment, uncertainty… and feel all of it. No numbing it. No checking out. No “taking the edge off.” Just sitting with the hard, letting it move through you, and still showing up.

And honestly? There’s something powerful about that.

Feeling it all isn’t weakness. It’s courage.
Grief, anger, fear, hope… they all have something to teach us if we let them.

I’m not saying this with judgment at all — if you need a drink to unwind, I get it. No shame here whatsoever. We all cope differently.

But there is something kind of sacred about going through tough things sober… clear-eyed… carrying your own heart through it awake.

It takes a special kind of strength to do that.

To not run.
To not numb.
To feel it and keep going anyway.

And maybe that’s where real healing lives.

If you’re walking through something hard right now and doing it one raw, honest day at a time… I see you. That kind of quiet strength deserves more credit.

Sometimes surviving with your heart open is the bravest thing you can do. 🩷
