BREAKING NEWS: Australia bans it, and Monsanto, et al, want to spray it on our food. The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has cancelled the registration of 11 high volatile ester (HVE) products and two active constituents, effectively banning the toxic herbicide 2,4-D as of August 21, 2013. 2,4-D is one of the most widely used herbicides in the world and was a major ingredient in the notorious herbicide, Agent Orange produced by Monsanto and Dow, used by the U.S. military during the Vietnam War.
