Here is a breakdown of the ingredients that make up the avocado H**p formula. Without showing percentages of my recipe in no particular order the new formula contains:

Castor
Avocado
H**p
Cocoa Butter
Palm Kernel
Stearic acid
Vitamin E acetate
Silk
Vegetable glycerine
Sodium lactate
Fragrance oil and/or essential oils

The recipe is known as my H**p and Avocado formula as those two oils have high percentages in the recipe.

I have a batch of H**p and Avocado formula shave soap. “The Sandman” is a relaxing shaving scent of chamomile and lavender. This is an all vegetable formula, I can list all the ingredients later.

I decided I would keep this one to sell myself vs. wholesaling to west coast shaving, it’s kind of a trial run for the new formula before I make more of it. I have them on eBay as it’s really my main source of selling online these days. I don’t have my Shopify account anymore. Hey everyone. I think it’s been a couple years. Thanks for continuing to follow Ballenclaugh soaps. Although I still plan on making Ballenclaugh soaps in the 4.5 formula, I have turned my attention to a new line of soaps that will be being made that is really exciting for me.

I’m a tallow fan and always will be, but years ago I challenged myself to create a non-tallow soap and the test run tonight was so successful, probably the best test drive on a new soap I have ever had.

My fiancé Natalie has decided to start a line of soaps called Six Petals Soaps, and this new formula will be a Six Petals offering. Although she will be making body and hand soaps as well, the shaving soap will be the quality you have always gotten from Ballenclaugh Soaps as I am formulating the soaps and overseeing the production until it’s as second nature to her as it is to me.

There is no drop off in lather quality and an all vegetable based soap that contains oils of Avocado, H**p, Cocoa Butter, castor and more has really opened my eyes to what I knew was possible without using tallow in my soaps. I need to get labels designed and ordered, but the first batch is done and will be available in yet to be determined retailers. Sorry it’s been so long guys. Finally got around to another batch of Cherries in the Chamber tonight. My fiancé Natalie Fox completed almost the whole process herself with minimal direction. Now there are 2 cooks who can try to find time to make batches. I still need to print labels and label. I will keep you updated on when they will be shipping to WCS.
