I believe that, despite our cultural, political, and personal differences, we have many ways to bridge those divides and come together. Only united can we empower our children and future generations to build a strong, cohesive community. I hope this short music documentary demonstrates this vision.

The documentary "Cultures in the Crossfade" is now available online. This series uses music to explore political and cultural polarization in Lincoln, NE. It features two musicians from different cultural and musical backgrounds coming together in an improvised performance and dialogue. They explore where they connect, how they listen across their differences, and whether music can serve as a model for bridging divides. This project is designed to be a resource for teaching, organizing, mediating, and community building. Contact me to book a screening follow discussion and live music.
