Things to keep in mind when transitioning to your natural color:

✨Artificial color and natural color tend to clash because one is warm and the other cool. This makes both colors look less than great.

✨It will take TIME.

✨There are multiple ways to get there and it depends on your hair, budget, and lifesytle as to which is the best way for you.

Apparently today is Rainbow Bridge Day. We said goodbye to both of our boys just over 3 months ago. Not a day goes by when I don’t think about them and miss their companionship and unconditional love. I am grateful for the 15 years we had with them and know they are running turbo speed on the other side of the bridge. 💙💙🌈

Has a stylist ever asked you if the “density in your perimeter” looks good?

Let’s break this question down…
PERIMETER - That is the bottom line of your haircut
DENSITY - That is how thick your hair looks
What I’m asking is do you like the thickness of the bottom line of your cut?

Once the density is determined, then I know how much hair I have left to work with to create shape.

Before Head Shape Matters, I would cut into the perimeter density too often leaving the bottom of a cut looking weak and overly wispy. On thin hair, this makes hair appear thinner and on thick hair it generally means there is too much weight higher up creating a ledge.

There is not one haircut that fits all people, but there is one system that works for every haircut.

The truth is that there is a very small population of people who can truly get by with simply washing and letting their hair air dry without any other effort.

The reality is that hair needs a little bit of attention. Whether that be specialized application of product or using hot tools to tame the mane.

Since we uncovered Jayne's natural texture allowing her to use less heat and cutting her hair using Head Shape Matters cutting system her hair cuts last longer so her hair has been able to grow.
