Here is my personal story ❤️❤️❤️
My whole life I was thin. I was a dancer. I was strong, lean and had energy for days. 5 years ago I was diagnosed with Lupus and that changed a lot for me. Exercise didn’t make me feel better, it made me sick. Lifting weights didn’t make me strong, it crippled my hands and other muscles that I couldn’t walk the next day.
With the stressors and hustle of life, I gained weight. Excessive weight, no but enough that I didn’t feel like me. Enough that every pair of jeans I owned were too tight.
I tried intermittent fasting, counting calories, counting macros. Some things helped a bit but nothing changed how I looked and most importantly felt.
Enter Semaglutide! I began injections in mid July and by October I was at my goal. I never had a goal weight but I knew how I wanted to look and feel. I still consumed adequate calories. I eat a high protein diet filled with fruits, veggies and the occasional French fries. In no way did I drastically change my diet but with the help of Semaglutide I was able to cut the unnecessary fat and sugar from my diet.
