One of my specialities is sensitive skin. This specific client has MCAS (Mass Cell Activation Syndrome). This disorder causes inflammation, dry skin, sensitivity, and can mimic the same symptoms of allergic reactions and eczema. As you can imagine, you have to treat this skin very carefully to ensure you don’t trigger any histamine reaction. At the same time, we’d still love to increase hydration, support barrier health, while working on preventative aging. ❤️ We’ve been consistently meeting every 2 weeks for customized facials and skin care at home to get her skin back into a better repaired and hydrated state before we started working on signs of aging. ❤️
